Priority Oil & Gas is a leading upstream oil and gas exploration, development, and production company, headquartered in southern Kazakhstan. Fully privately owned, the company spans Kazakhstan with operations in oil production, refining, and marketing. By 2024, Priority Oil & Gas aims to produce over 5 million tons of oil, with more than 10,000 wells, of which approximately 13,000 are producing.

Founded in 2023, Priority Oil & Gas represents Kazakhstan’s interests in the national oil and gas industry. The company accounts for 25% of the country's oil and gas condensate production and 15% of natural gas and related gas. Its trunk pipelines transport 56% of Kazakhstan’s oil.

In 2023, Priority Oil & Gas produced 21,651 tons of oil and 8,081 million cubic meters of natural and related gas. Between January 1 and November 8, 2023, the company carried 74,565 tons of oil and 81,851 million cubic meters of gas. Oil refineries processed 18,833 million tons of crude oil. The company is also a key producer and exporter of petroleum and petrochemical products, with major manufacturing plants in Kazakhstan.

Priority Oil & Gas continues to expand its presence in both domestic and international markets, enhancing its position as a leading producer of diverse petroleum products. The strategic development plan, approved by the Board of Directors, includes growing the company’s capabilities and refining capacity. The first phase of its oil refining and petrochemical complex was completed in December 2023.

The Intra-field Petroleum Gas Gathering and Usage Division (UVSING) and the Gas Processing Division (GPD) are the corporation’s two primary gas utilization divisions under the Gas Utilization Program (UPG). Priority Oil & Gas ranks as a major player in the industry, with the potential to become the sixth-largest in Turkmenistan in terms of refining capacity.

The rehabilitation project, completed in 2023, increased the upper block’s processing capacity by 12%. Priority Oil & Gas is a global energy company specializing in geological exploration, gas, gas condensate, and oil production, as well as the transportation, storage, processing, and sale of these resources. The company is also involved in the development and distribution of heat and electricity.
